We have an exciting recent casual opportunity at our SIMON JOHNSON Northbridge store, to join the team and enhance the customer experience.

Our Retail

Assistants have a passion for food and customer service. They are able to demonstrate food retail experience, with an understanding of operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

Always provide exceptional customer service - where the customer will have a memorable and meaningful experience in our store.

Help build the customer base through high levels of customer service and provide extensive product knowledge

Ensure the store is clean and always looking its best – all work areas, equipment, furniture, utensils, equipment are cleaned and well maintained

Work within our Quality Assurance standards and programmes





Stock products on shelves and label correctly

Operate POS registers and calculate change manually if required

Weekday and week-end availability is required

Skills and Experience

Prior experience in food retail will be viewed favourably

Experience in customer service-oriented roles

POS experience is an advantage

Intermediate Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook).

Strong work ethic

Organisational & time management capabilities with a focus on multitasking and reprioritising

Excellent communication, both written and verbal

Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines

Positive attitude, proactive and shows initiative and works well under pressure A can-do, team-focused attitude is essential for success

Strong interpersonal skills – ability to liaise confidently with customers and team members – excellent customer service skills
