We’re currently partnering with Aus Living Support, a local Sunshine Coast non-for-profit, to find reliable and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join their Op Shop teams in Maroochydore or Nambour.
Aus Living Support is charity dedicated to supporting people and families experiencing hardship, including those impacted by domestic and family violence, homelessness and difficult circumstances. Their Op Shops play an important role in supporting this mission, helping fund programs that provide assistance to members of the community when they need it most.
This role could be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy working with people and creating positive customer experiences
- Have retail, customer service and cash-handling experience
- Are reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
- Have the confidence to support and guide volunteers during your shift
- Are looking for a role with purpose where your contribution makes a difference
In this role, you will:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Process sales, handle cash and electronic payment accurately
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliation
- Assist with merchandising,
pricing and preparing donated goods for sale
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment
- Work alongside and provide day-to-day guidance to volunteers
- Nambour: Tuesday and Wednesday (8:45am – 4:45pm)
- Additional shifts available to cover leave and peak periods
- Opportunity to work with a local Non-For-Profit and make a meaningful contribution to the community.
