We are seeking a full-time or part-time Retail Sales Person to join our friendly Tamworth team.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Rotating roster for Saturday work 8:00 - 12:00pm

These hours and days are flexible for the right candidate

Qualifications & experience

- Excellent customer service
- You will need to have a current drivers licence, a versatile approach and most importantly a positive can do work attitude
- Ability to problem solve
- Good computer skills
- Ability to Multitask




- Forklift ticket desirable

Tasks & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, tradesmen, sub-contractors and sale reps
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customers with their requirements
- Sales and product quoting, including over the counter and telephone.
- Customer Service. This includes maintaining a friendly, tidy and professional appearance as well as a pleasant phone manner including maintaining the stores profile and presentation
- Packing shelves, picking orders, processing deliveries and keeping the shop neat and tidy
- Operate Jim2 from quotation through to POS invoicing - Training provided
- Assist in stock control including stock adjustments and stock transfers
- Unpacking stock when required
- Unloading trucks
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the shop
- Daily Till reconciliation
- Opening and closing of the store
- Follow safe work methods, policies and procedures.
