Doyalson Animal Hospital | Full-Time Lead Veterinarian

- Roster: 38-hour week with one in five Saturdays. No after-hours work, Sundays, or public holidays
- Caseload: Small animals only

- In-house laboratory (Idexx Procyte and Catalyst One)
- EPOC blood gas and coagulation analyser (Qlabs)
- Brand new Easote ultrasound (purchased June 2023)
- GTR Labs x-ray with DR digital radiography
- Companion therapy laser

The Prospect

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Lead Veterinarian to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you can shape the future of our practice. You'll have the chance to introduce new strategies,



expand services, and bring clinical innovations that truly make a difference.

Whether you're an experienced vet ready for your next challenge or someone eager to take that next step, we want to hear from you. You'll be supported every step of the way by the team, with tailored training and professional development.

In this full-time position, you'll:

- Provide comprehensive veterinary care, diagnose and treat a diverse range of cases,
- Lead a collaborative team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses,
- Work alongside a dedicated practice manager and,
- Collaborate with experienced veterinarians and a supportive team of nurses, with opportunities to pursue your professional interests.

To be successful in this role:

- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
- Experience mentoring and leading veterinarians in a supportive veterinary practice is desirable but not essential
- A strong clinical background with a growth mindset
