Force is on the hunt for a skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our Forrestfield Components Workshop team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of mining equipment through advanced non-destructive testing methods.
Working closely with the Workshop Manager and key stakeholders, you’ll inspect, assess, and report on equipment integrity - helping prevent failures, reduce downtime, and maintain the highest safety standards across operations.

What your day will look like:
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on machine components to detect surface and subsurface defects
- Select appropriate testing methods in line with industry standards
- Compile detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate job records
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and stakeholders
- Operate and maintain specialised NDT equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and compliance requirements

To be successful:
- Level 2 Certification in:
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Robust ability to interpret technical documents and produce clear reports
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to engage small teams
- A proactive approach to safety and teamwork
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift
