We are one of Australia’s longest established and largest dedicated forensic accounting and forensic technology teams.We are looking for a manager who has well defined experiencein business analysis and understanding the drivers behind a business' operations. Business valuation experience would be highly regarded.

Job Description

Whatyou’lldo

- Lead and deliver business valuations and economic loss assessments across matters including family lawandcommercial litigation.
- Analyse financial and statutory documents to understand business performance,risksand complex entity structures.
- Prepare detailed expert reports for Court and critically review opposing experts’ opinions.
- Investigate asset ownership, non-financial performance drivers and commercial risk factorsimpactingengagements.
- Manage client relationships, proactively communicating updates on scope,timeframesand fees.
- Delegate,reviewand provide feedback on work completed by junior team members.




- Contribute to practice development through building and maintaining professional networks, internalprocess improvements, traininginitiativesand technical knowledge sharing.

Whatyou’llbring

- A degree in Accounting, Business, or CommercewithCA or CPA qualification.
- Completion or commencement of theCAANZ Business Valuation Specialisation and / or Forensic Accounting Specialisation (or equivalentwould be an advantage)
- 6+ years of experience in a professional business analysis / data analytics role within Australia. Prior forensic accounting experience would be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess complex financial information and form well-reasoned opinions.
- Advanced report writing skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen and sound judgement which assist in readilyevaluating business risk and performance drivers.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines,workflowand productivity targets.
- A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a genuine desire to learn, mentor others and grow your technicalexpertise.
