You will drive sales growth by building and maintaining long-term business relationships with clients ranging from owner operators to large organisations who are looking to sell or auction their transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment or machinery through Pickles.
Two roles available, supporting:
- Sydney Metro and the Greater Sydney region
- Regional NSW/ACT area
You will be dedicated to:
- Developing new business opportunities for Pickles and maintaining existing relationships.
- Driving new business through cold calling, and following up on leads from existing clients to source trucks, machinery and other stock for sale or auction. Walk into an existing territory full of qualified accounts ready to transact.
- Conducting effective in person/online meetings with our clients to help provide solutions.
- Stepping out in the field to inspect trucks and machinery.
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in sales and new business development.
- Knowledge of transport, construction,
earthmoving & agricultural equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to use a CRM system to identify existing and current opportunities.
- Outstanding customer service, time management and solutions focused skills.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently – you will be working closely with other departments to ensure assets are prepared for auction as well as working your region to source assets.
