About the role

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team at The Tyre Professionals in Sunshine North, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales across our retail operations. As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our business, helping customers find the right products and services whilst building lasting relationships that contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers in a warm and professional manner, understanding their needs and providing expert product recommendations
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our product range, including tyres, wheels, and related automotive services
- Assisting with stock management, including receiving, displaying and rotating merchandise
- Keeping the sales floor clean, tidy and well-organised to create an inviting shopping environment
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and courteously
- Supporting the team with promotional activities and merchandise displays
- Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues to achieve sales targets

What we're looking for

- Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong numeracy skills and accuracy with handling cash and transactions




- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work the hours required for this full-time role
- A willingness to learn about automotive products and industry knowledge
- Physical capability to handle products, lift items safely and stand for extended periods
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with retail systems is advantageous
