Civmec is proud to be supporting Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources with a further package of work for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I;) installation works across the facility. As Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone development is driving innovation—and we’re building a skilled team to help bring it to life.

The Eneabba facility processes monazite concentrate from Iluka’s mineral sands operations, with production having commenced in 2026.

We’re currently seeking experienced Riggers to join our Construction division on a long‑term project. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA’s Mid‑West.

The Role

- Minimum 5 years In Rigging (RI or RA)
- Experience with cranes setup in Super Lift (Advantageous)
- Heavy Steel Erection
- Tanks Experience
- Assist with lift plans and lifting activities.
- Align level and anchor machinery.
- Maintain and tag rigging gear as required.
- Ensure rigging gear is stored correctly.
- Attach appropriately rated rigging gear to existing structures to facilitate the movement of loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoists.




- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a secure and clean condition. Lock them away or return to store when not required.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- Current High Risk Rigging licence (RI and RA) and VOC
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
- Current High risk elevating work platform license (EWP) and VOC
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Previous experience on construction projects
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
