Additional Information:
- This role is Permanent Part Time, 60hrs/fortnight).
- The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Truck Driver
- The availability required for this role is 4:00am - 12:00pm weekdays and 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
- To be considered for this role you will be required to have a current and valid LF Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence).
As a Forklift Driver your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving daily deliveries and unloading containers safely using a counterbalance forklift.
- Transporting, locating and storing pallets using reach truck equipment within the warehouse and bulk storage locations.
- Replenishing stock to designated locations to maintain product availability and support daily sales.
- Accurately handling stock movements and inventory transactions using warehouse systems and scanning technology.
- Conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory accuracy activities.
- Supporting the efficient flow of goods from receiving through to storage and replenishment areas.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment in line with IKEA safety standards and operating procedures.
- Working collaboratively with co-workers across Fulfilment and other store functions to achieve daily operational goals.
As a Forklift Driver you are, or you have:
- A safety-first mindset and take responsibility for creating a safe environment for co-workers, customers and products.
- A current and valid LF High Risk Work Licence and experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
- A passion for ensuring products are received, stored and replenished efficiently to support an excellent customer experience.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, building strong relationships with your team and other departments.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using systems and technology to maintain inventory accuracy.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing operational needs while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- An energetic approach and are comfortable undertaking physical work as part of your daily routine.
