About the Role

As the Occupational Therapy Team Lead, you'll lead a passionate team of Occupational Therapists while maintaining a predominantly NDIS caseload across children and adults.

This is a hands-on clinical leadership position where you'll balance direct client care with mentoring, supervision and service development. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary leadership team to build clinical excellence, support professional growth and ensure exceptional outcomes for the communities we serve.

Your clinical work will take you across our modern clinic, schools, homes and remote Aboriginal communities, delivering Care on Country where therapy has the greatest impact.

You’ll be supported by an experienced Leadership Team who believe in empowering leaders, fostering innovation and building a workplace where people genuinely love coming to work.

Lead, mentor and support the Occupational Therapy team through clinical supervision, onboarding, professional development and evidence-based practice.

Foster a positive, high-performing and values-driven team culture while supporting recruitment,



onboarding and retention of Occupational Therapists.

Plan, implement, evaluate and continuously improve Occupational Therapy services across East Arnhem Land communities.

Manage a predominantly NDIS caseload while supporting service growth and strategic service development.

Conduct comprehensive functional assessments across home, school and community settings, considering the cultural, physical and emotional needs of Yolŋu clients.

Develop and deliver practical, goal-directed interventions that promote independence, daily living skills, community participation and functional outcomes.

Provide culturally responsive services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients in partnership with families, interpreters, schools and community stakeholders.

Deliver capacity-building interventions addressing cognition, executive functioning, sensory processing, motor planning and activities of daily living.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to case conferencing, service planning and coordinated client care.

Prepare high-quality clinical documentation, including Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology assessments and justifications, NDIS reports and progress documentation.

Monitor clinical quality, governance and client outcomes, ensuring services align with professional standards, legislation and organisational policies.

Drive quality improvement initiatives, contribute to policy development and support continuous improvement across the organisation.

Requirements

- AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist




- Minimum five years' clinical experience
- Previous leadership, mentoring or clinical supervision experience (preferred)
- Experience working with NDIS participants
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Working with Children Clearance (NT Ochre Card) or ability to obtain
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
