About ACC Launceston
Our Launceston campus is a Christian, co-educational, K-10 school that delivers on campus and distance education.
The School’s purpose is to transform young people spiritually, academically, socially and physically for lives of significance and service. We strive to educate students who act graciously and think biblically.
In 2026, the School has almost 100 on campus students and over 70 students studying via distance education.

About the role
Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced educational leaders for the position of Principal.
The Principal is responsible for maintaining and developing the positive culture and community of the school, ensuring students have access to high quality teaching and learning.
The role is supported by the Corporate Office with finance, HR, marketing, IT and building projects being provided by CEM. The Principal's role will be to grow and lead the School producing a strong Christian teaching culture of high quality. The Principal will be expected to generate the momentum required to move the School forward, building positive relationships within the school and wider community.
This full-time position is expected to start Term 1 2027 (open to negotiation).
Requirements
About You
First and foremost, you will have a sincere and steadfast relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Out of this relationship, you will act graciously toward all members of the school community and think biblically through opportunities and challenges associated with being in a leadership role within a Christian school. You will be a spiritual and educational servant-leader who seeks the positive of others.
More specifically, you will have:
- a vibrant Christian faith, evidenced by service in your local church;
- the ability to articulate your faith to others;
- a commitment to the transformative power of the Gospel in the lives of students and staff alike;
- experience in educational leadership;
- a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond in pursuit of the school’s mission;
- a teachable spirit, marked by self-awareness, openness to feedback, and a focus on the good of the team; and,
- the ability to relate well to others, building solid, respectful, and collaborative relationships across the school community.
- Work within a school leadership and group executive leadership that has a clear Christian vision and a solid authentic Christian culture.
