We are seeking an experienced Lead QA professional to support our client’s digital transformation using the Pega platform. The candidate should have strong technical and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of STLC and SDLC, and confidence in managing project testing activities, including release tracking and documentation. The Lead Consultant QA will be responsible for using testing tools to ensure timely releases and must be adaptable across testing phases such as planning, scripting, SIT, UAT coordination, and operations handover in line with our Test Framework.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Technical Qualification:

- 8 to 13 years of overall testing experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in automation testing experience.
- Proficient in both Manual and Automation testing
- Java with Selenium or else C# Selenium (anyone), Selenium Page Object Design Pattern.
- Solid knowledge of testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC. Should understand Test Automation and Open-source Frameworks.
- Test Automation role requires to understand the design and execution of Automation Scripts and validation procedures along with the responsibility for Estimations, prioritizations, overall plans and coordinating testing activities.
- Strong understanding of Automation concepts, with hands‑on experience in Selenium, BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Role Requires to understand the Use cases and Design the Test Approach for the Pega Applications and establish automation strategy for the application and implement the automation to reduce the testing cycle.
- Functional Test Planning. Understanding the Flow diagrams and coming up with the Test scenario/s and Cases.
- Extensive coordination with product and Dev team on requirement gaps and functional issues resolution.
- API testing using SoapUI and create SQL queries.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
- Ability to understand various aspects of Integration testing involving multiple interfaces.





Key Responsibilities:

- Experience working in Agile methodology.
- QA Lead mentors team members, and manages outside resources, as well as developing test programs, execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Must be well versed with QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered software and improving application quality going forward. Requires Peer Reviews of the Test Scripts from the Team.
- Work will include testing Pega Applications for Flow Rules, Decision Rules, Integrations and Automated Regression Testing and working alongside Test Leads to ensure all test activities on projects are executed as per the Test Plans.
- Required to liaise with Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure and enabling the changes along with meeting the quality standards.
- Executing tests on software usability. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- QA Lead will be involved in Sprint planning, understanding Use cases, Designing the test Approach for PEGA APPLICATIONS, establishing Automation Strategy for the Applications, implementation of the Automation in reducing the testing Cycle time, full Execution of QA Process, and brining things for a Closure.
- Incumbent must learn and be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, and Execution, also must learn to have knowledge of Pega tool and its features.
- The test Lead will decide on the “go/no go” decisions on production implementations of the new and modified software, based on project quality and testing scenarios.
- The role requires strong communication and decision‑making skills, confident client interaction, and leadership in designing and executing QA test plans and validation procedures.

Preferred Qualification: (Optional/Good to have)

- Test Planning and Strategy implementations.
- Good Communication and Client interaction skills
- Familiarity with both backend and frontend skills
- Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, HP-ALM, X-Ray).
