This FIFO role offers the opportunity to work across a busy mining operation, supporting maintenance and project teams by delivering safe, compliant and efficient scaffold solutions.

About the Role

As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting, modifying and dismantling scaffolding and installing hard barricading to provide safe work areas for maintenance, construction and operational teams. Working closely with supervisors and stakeholders, you'll ensure scaffold structures are built, inspected and maintained to the highest safety and compliance standards while supporting continuous site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding across site in accordance with engineering requirements and relevant legislation.
- Install hard barricading to create safe work areas for maintenance and project activities.
- Scope scaffold requirements in consultation with Leading Hands and Supervisors.
- Plan and coordinate scaffold activities to minimise operational downtime.
- Maintain the site scaffold register in accordance with legislative and company requirements.
- Conduct mandatory 14-day scaffold inspections, re-tagging and condition reporting.
- Read and interpret scaffold plans and construct scaffolding to specification.
- Maintain scaffold equipment to a high standard through scheduled inspections and maintenance.
- Operate forklifts, loaders and other authorised equipment where appropriately licensed and verified as competent.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Undertake additional duties within your skill set as required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Advanced Scaffolder Qualification.




- Current HR Class Driver's Licence.
- Minimum three years' experience in the scaffolding industry.
- Thorough knowledge of working at heights legislation and scaffold compliance requirements.
- Experience erecting and inspecting scaffolding in mining, industrial or heavy construction environments.
- Strong understanding of workplace risk management and hazard identification.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
