Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Develop, solve, and critically review advanced material science problems with real-world relevance
Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related areas to craft complex, rigorous problem statements
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning
Ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity across all deliverables
Help set the standard for how AI understands and engages with materials science at a graduate level Who You Are Holds a Master's or PhD in Material Science, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field
Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent disciplines
Proficient in Python or MATLAB — whether from research, coursework, or applied projects
Exceptional written communicator who can convey complex concepts with precision and clarity
Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous setting
Fluent in English Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
Background in computational materials science or quantum chemistry
Prior work in research environments with a focus on reproducibility and scientific rigor
