About the Role
We are seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Argo's Ironbark No.1 mine site. You will work in either Development, Outbye, or Longwall areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently support production and maintenance targets while taking on other operational tasks as needed.
- Prepare, plan, and execute daily work according to approved weekly schedules.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant coal mining regulations and standards.
- Contribute to fostering a safe, positive, and collaborative workplace culture.
What It Takes?
- Significant experience in underground coal operations.
- Relevant trade qualifications and tickets.
- Standard 11 Surface and Underground certification.
- Proven commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
- A solid drive to achieve business goals and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
