Your Role

As an Engineering Soil Technician, you’ll join the Site Services team in our Bunbury office in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Section Manager, the duties within this role include:

You’ll:

- Coordinate and undertake site visits, ensuring the required equipment and site access arrangements are in place.
- Perform geotechnical investigations for residential subdivisions and commercial development projects.
- Conduct compaction testing, site classifications, wind classifications and ground slab certifications.




- Assess site conditions and identify engineering implications through field observations.
- Prepare accurate field records, engineering documentation and reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate site activities and provide updates.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and senior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Comply with Company Quality Assurance, Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and industry standards.
- Undertake other duties as reasonably required.

What You’ll Bring

- A completed Engineering qualification or a strong interest in pursuing a career in Geotechnical Engineering (desirable).
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
- The ability to work independently across multiple sites while managing competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- A willingness to learn engineering principles, Australian Standards and Company procedures.
- Sound attention to detail and the ability to accurately record site observations and prepare documentation.
