The Chancery is looking for a People & Culture professional who wishes to build on their previous experience while being supported in a caring workplace.

TheChancery in Lismore provides support services to the Catholic Diocese of Lismore. The Dioceseextends from Tweed Heads in the north to Laurieton in the south.

An opportunity has become available for a People & Culture Manager to join the Chancery team and deliver contemporary people centred, leadership, support and advice across our parishes, agencies, health, aged care, early childhood education and community service entities.Working with our leaders, you'll be at the heart of ensuring that as an employer, we are true to Catholic Social Teaching principles as they apply to our workplace.

Responsibilities

This is a generalist position and includes partnering with our parishes, entities and agencies, understanding their needs and providing leadership, support and guidance across the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment, induction, learning and development, employee relations, WHS, performance management and HR systems and processes.

You’ll lead the delivery of People & Culture initiatives and projects that help us connect, share and grow.

About You





The successful applicant will ideally possess the following qualifications, skills abilities and experience:

Degree or studying toward a degree qualification in Human Resource Management or related discipline.

Experience as a P&C; Advisor, Business Partner or Manager. Partnering with senior leaders and influencing a broad range of stakeholders.

Experience developing and implementing people strategies that support positive outcomes.

Strong understanding of Fair Work requirements, Modern Awards, WHS legislation and contemporary HR and workers compensation/injury management practices.

Organisational development, change management and culture-strengthening capability.

Exceptional communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to travel throughout the Diocese. A driver's licence is a must.
