Experienced Drillers and offsiders - Diamond, RC, Water well

May Drilling Pty Ltd is seeking experienced drillers and offsiders to join our dynamic team in Humpty Doo, NT. This is a part-time opportunity for skilled professionals with expertise in diamond drilling, reverse circulation (RC) drilling, and water well drilling. You will play a crucial role in supporting our exploration and geoscience operations, contributing to the success of our drilling projects across the Northern Territory. This position offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of safety and quality that May Drilling is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Operate and maintain diamond, RC, and water well drilling equipment in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Set up, calibrate, and manage drilling rigs to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
- Assist in core recovery, sample handling, and site documentation for exploration projects
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of drilling equipment to prevent downtime
- Liaise with site supervisors and geologists to ensure drilling objectives are met
- Support offsiders in their duties and provide mentorship where appropriate
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
- Maintain detailed drilling records and logs as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating diamond drilling rigs in exploration settings
- Demonstrated expertise with reverse circulation (RC) drilling equipment
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to remote sites
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE)



requirements in the mining and drilling industry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site-specific instructions
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks in challenging environments
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in drilling operations (preferred)
- Experience working in the Northern Territory (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
