We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join the Group Finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, this role plays a key part in delivering end-to-end accounts payable services across the organisation while providing coaching, guidance and support to team members.
Salary range: $54.57 - $59.38 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
- Support the full invoice-to-pay process, including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations and payment runs
- Act as an escalation point for complex AP queries and transactional issues
- Provide mentoring and day-to-day support to team members
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain robust compliance,
controls and data integrity standards.
About you
- 3 to 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or financial operations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes and financial controls
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in high-volume processing environments
- Experience with Dynamics 365, OCR solutions, Eftsure or similar systems will be highly regarded.
