Senior Administration Officer and MRI Support Job Type: Full‑time, fixed term until 30 August 2027 (parental leave cover).
Location: Camperdown Campus.
Base Salary: $117,133 plus 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities - Oversee daily administrative activities.
- Provide high‑level support to senior faculty leadership, centre and institute leadership teams.
- Ensure governance compliance and manage enquiries with discretion.
- Build effective working relationships and contribute to strategic planning and process improvements.
- Maintain databases and reports to meet governance and business requirements.
- Compile and analyse data for reports and presentations.
- Coordinate payments, invoices, documentation and records in accordance with university policy.
- Collect and summarise operational statistics.
- Facilitate strategic external engagement through planning, project support, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Coordinate meetings, events and conferences, providing high‑level administrative support (drafting correspondence, liaising with stakeholders and managing logistics).
- Support university governance processes by assisting senior leadership with annual reporting, reviews and governance activities, and provide guidance on administrative procedures.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and duties as required by the manager.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Experience interpreting and applying complex policies, procedures, and financial processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events and activities in a complex workplace.
- Sound financial administration skills, including coordinating payments, invoices and financial information.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with robust Excel capability for reporting and data analysis.
- Self‑motivated, sound judgement, independent and collaborative.
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of employment.
