About the prospect The School of Psychological Sciences is looking for a Senior Administration Officer to join their team.

The Senior Administration Officer plays a pivotal role within the School of Psychological Sciences; ensuring teaching and learning objectives are met to ensure a positive experience for students.

As our new Senior Admin Officer, you will provide seamless and proactive administrative support to a range of stakeholders with a focus on efficient, lean and responsive support, particularly in learning and teaching operations and employment administration.

You will work independently under broad direction from the School Coordinator, and collaborate as part of a team, working closely with students and staff across the Schools, University and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

- Undertake a broad range of teaching and learning operational activities which may include timetabling and scheduling; orientation; student intake support; exams and results, and OSCES (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations).
- Provide high level advice and guidance to staff and students on University and School policies and procedures.




- Work closely with the academic team to provide support with learning and teaching compliance activities within our placement program.
- Utilise University systems to collect and analyse data, integrate information, and produce and provide reports for use at School level.
- Working closely with the School Coordinator, proactively support activities including coordinating employment administration and student experience events.
- Under the guidance of the School Coordinator, develop, implement and maintain operational procedural, reference and training documentation and train other staff in the use of university systems and understanding policies and procedures.

­What we’re looking for:

- Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training, particularly in learning and teaching administration.
- The ability to take responsibility for initiating, developing, implementing, and evaluating administrative processes within a complex organisation
- Knowledge of University operations, policies, systems and procedures or a proven track record of adapting quickly within a complex organisation.
- Highly developed written and analytical skills, along with the ability to extract and analyse information from multiple sources, solve problems and think flexibly to develop solutions.




- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement on work methods and task sequence in order to meet deadlines.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
