As the Senior Adviser Organisational Development, you will play a key role in designing and delivering strategic organisational development initiatives that strengthen Council's capability, performance, and culture. Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide expert advice and contemporary organisational development solutions that align with corporate priorities, support workforce capability, and foster a high-performing, values-driven workplace.

Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering organisational development initiatives that build workforce capability and support Council's People Strategy.

Partnering with leaders and stakeholders to strengthen leadership, talent management, performance, culture and employee engagement.

Leading key people initiatives including diversity and inclusion activities, and employee engagement initiatives.

Providing expert advice and coaching to leaders to enhance people capability, workforce performance and organisational effectiveness.

Leading cross-functional projects and driving the successful delivery of organisational development and change initiatives.

Monitoring, analysing and reporting on outcomes to inform continuous improvement and support strategic decision-making.

Skills and experience: Experience designing and implementing organisational development programs, initiatives and projects within a medium to large organisation.

Demonstrated success in delivering, monitoring and evaluating initiatives that improve organisational capability, performance and continuous improvement outcomes.

Well-developed communication, consultation and report writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive innovation and embed positive change.

Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve organisational objectives.





Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, relevant legislation, industrial instruments, policies and procedures applicable to human resources and organisational development. Eligibility: Tertiary qualifications in HR Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology or a related field are desirable.
