Senior Analyst | Marketing Science | Melbourne 3–5 years' marketing science experience? Ready to run your own portfolio without someone looking over your shoulder?
This is a hands-on role with a strategic insights advisory that works across trackers, concept testing, shelf tests and segmentation for some of the biggest brands in the country. You'll be the technical backbone for consulting teams — advising on methodology, managing fieldwork and weighting, and getting stuck into drivers analyses and more complex projects like choice models.
What you'll be doing:
- Running the day-to-day analytics across a portfolio of accounts — you're the go-to for consulting teams on all things technical
- Managing fieldwork, sampling, quotas and weighting for standard-complexity projects, and knowing when to flag issues early
- Shaping bespoke questionnaires that go beyond a standard tracker refresh — concept testing, U&A;, shelf tests
- Getting involved in segmentations and choice models alongside senior team members
- Turning data into outputs people actually use — not just delivering numbers, but telling consulting teams what they mean
- Building your skills in dashboarding and data visualisation tools along the way
- Helping bring junior consultants up to speed as you go
What you'll bring:
- 3–5 years in marketing science or quantitative research
- Confidence managing multiple projects at once, end to end
- A solid grounding in survey weighting, drivers analyses and questionnaire design — plus an appetite to go further into MaxDiff, pricing methods and segmentation
- Comfort working across consulting, qualitative and strategy teams, not just heads-down in a spreadsheet
- A genuinely curious, "how do we solve this together" mindset
Why this one's worth a look: You'll be working inside a genuinely integrated business — not siloed off in a research team — with real access to senior mentors, an annual L&D; program, and a portfolio that includes some of Australia's most recognised brands. If you're looking to sharpen your technical edge while still having a life outside of trackers, this is worth a conversation.
