About the Company

Resourceful Recruitment has partnered with an established renewable energy developer with a growing portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Australia. As their construction and operational footprint expands, they're looking for an HSSE Advisor to support the safe delivery of projects across development, construction and operational sites. Key Responsibilities

The HSSE Advisor will support the Manager, HSSE in embedding strong safety and environmental practices across the business's project portfolio, working closely with construction, operational and contractor teams.

- Conduct health and safety audits and reviews across construction and operational sites.
- Review contractor health and safety documentation against the company's integrated management system and relevant state legislation.
- Support the consistent implementation of the integrated management system (IMS) across all projects.
- Coordinate with construction, operational and legal teams to close out gaps in contractor HSSE documentation.
- Prepare regulatory and internal health, safety and environment reports.
- Assist project teams to prepare and update HSSE risk assessments across each stage of development.
- Support compliance with incident reporting requirements, including investigations where needed.
- Assist in preparing annual health and safety budgets.
- Help coordinate HSSE training programs, including inductions and hazard identification.
- Coordinate monthly health and safety meetings between the business and head contractors on site.

About You

- Diploma or Certificate IV in WHS (or working towards).
- IMS Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 14001, 45001, 9001)

- First Aid, CPR and White Card.
- 3-5 years' experience in workplace health and safety within a construction environment.
- Experience or knowledge in environmental management within construction.
- Background in the electricity, energy or broader construction sector well regarded.
- Solid understanding of harmonised WHS legislation across Australia.
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with contractors, peers and site teams.
- Well organised, methodical and comfortable balancing a varied workload.
- Happy working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
