Senior Associate / Vice President - Project Finance

Sydney This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Finance professional looking to take the next step in their career, working on some of Australia's largest and most complex transactions within a collaborative, high-performing team.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Associate / Vice President, you will be responsible for supporting the origination and execution of project finance transactions from initial structuring through to financial close. You will work closely with clients, sponsors, investors, advisers and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored financing solutions while maintaining a strong focus on credit quality and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead key workstreams across the origination and execution of limited recourse project finance transactions.
- Analyse transaction structures and prepare financing proposals aligned with the organisation's credit appetite.
- Drive internal credit approval processes, preparing high-quality credit submissions and recommendations.
- Manage financial modelling, due diligence and documentation workstreams throughout transaction execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, contractors, investors and external advisers.
- Support the ongoing management of a diverse project finance portfolio, including credit reviews, waivers,



consents and ongoing monitoring.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- 4-8 years' experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance or a related institutional banking environment.
- Proven experience executing complex project finance transactions, ideally including limited recourse financings.
- Strong credit analysis and risk assessment capabilities.
- Advanced financial modelling and financial analysis skills.
- Experience managing due diligence and legal documentation processes.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare credit papers, transaction memoranda and client presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across internal and external parties.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
