Role: Senior Business Analyst / Consultant - Transformation (Travel)

Role Summary

- We are seeking an experienced Travel Domain Consultant with solid expertise in business analysis, process improvement, digital transformation, and stakeholder management within the travel, aviation, tourism, hospitality, or transportation sectors. The consultant will assess existing business processes, conduct market and competitor research, identify operational gaps, recommend strategic improvements, and drive organizational change initiatives.
- The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of the travel industry ecosystem, including airlines, airports, online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), reservations, ticketing, customer experience, and border/travel regulations.

Key Responsibilities Business Process Analysis & Improvement

- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and operating models.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand current challenges.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process optimization strategies.
- Document current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") business processes.

Industry & Market Research

- Perform detailed market research on travel industry trends, emerging technologies, customer expectations, and competitor practices.
- Benchmark organizational processes against industry best practices.
- Research travel, aviation, tourism, border control, immigration, and passenger processing trends.
- Collect and analyze relevant market data to support strategic decision-making.

Business Strategy & Transformation

- Develop research-based improvement roadmaps and growth strategies.




- Create actionable business transformation plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Recommend technology, process, and operational enhancements.
- Support digital transformation initiatives across customer-facing and back-office functions.

Presentation & Executive Reporting

- Prepare executive presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Present findings, improvement opportunities, and implementation plans to senior leadership, board members, and operational teams.
- Translate complex business concepts into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Develop KPI frameworks and performance measurement models.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with executive leadership, operational teams, technology teams, and external partners.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Gain stakeholders buy-in for transformation initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the change management lifecycle.
- Change Management & Training
- Develop change management and adoption strategies.
- Organize staff training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems.
- Support business readiness activities and user adoption programs.

Solution Validation & Benefits Realization

- Validate proposed solutions through pilot programs and testing activities.
- Measure performance improvement and business outcomes.
- Monitor implementation effectiveness against predefined KPIs.
- Recommend corrective actions where required.
