We are recruiting for the position of Claims Consultant. This position will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of complex claims through to settlement. You will be required to assess liability and determine appropriate outcomes while negotiating directly with third parties. The role also involves maintaining key supplier relationships and consulting with external partners on claims requiring further input or negotiation. On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities include:
- Manage a portfolio of complex claims from assessment through to resolution
- Assess liability and determine appropriate settlement outcomes
- Negotiate with third parties,
insurers and other representatives
- Manage relationships with key external suppliers and partners
- Consult with external partners on claims requiring further review or negotiation
- Resolve complex claims in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Apply relevant industry legislation, codes of practice and regulatory requirements
