Senior Accountant/Manager - Insolvency (Sydney and Brisbane opportunities)
Location: Sydney, NSW and Brisbane, QLD (Australia)
Salary range: Circa 90k - 120k including super (depending on experience)

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager – Insolvency to join a leading finance and restructuring team in Sydney or Brisbane office.
About the role
- Manage insolvency and restructuring engagements from initiation to completion while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
- Lead and support junior staff through task delegation, supervision, and review
- Conduct investigations, stakeholder interviews, and asset realisation activities in coordination with external parties
- Prepare and analyse financial models, reports, and detailed investigative findings
- Resolve complex technical matters and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement

Requirement
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Business, Commerce (Accounting)
- CA/CPA/ARITA qualified or in progress of CA/CPA/ARITA pathway
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring in Big4, mid-tier firm, or boutique firm in Australia
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian insolvency and statutory requirements
- Confident and professional in liaising with external stakeholders, including banks, legal advisors, and other professionals
- You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and based in Australia to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
