Position Title: Maintenance Scheduler
Location: Welshpool, WA with occasional travel to remote communities as required

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised Maintenance Scheduler to join our Maintenance team. In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate daily work schedules for trade teams delivering maintenance services across remote communities throughout the Ngaanyatjarra Lands.

Working closely with planners, supervisors, project teams and community stakeholders, you will allocate resources, coordinate accommodation and logistics, and ensure jobs are scheduled efficiently to meet operational priorities and service delivery targets.

In this role, you will:

Schedule and allocate maintenance work to trade teams based on priorities, resource availability and project requirements.

Coordinate trade runs, accommodation bookings and travel logistics across remote communities.

Monitor trade availability and maintain resource registers and scheduling systems.

Liaise with planners, supervisors, Housing, Construction, Essential Services and Community Development Advisors to coordinate work priorities.

Allocate jobs through Simpro and NRM Connect, ensuring work orders and documentation are distributed accurately and on time.

Coordinate equipment, materials and accommodation to support efficient project delivery.

Monitor daily progress, respond to schedule changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Maintain regular contact with trade teams to monitor progress, resolve issues and support efficient workflow.

Raise purchase orders, manage job documentation and support invoice approvals.

Participate in daily operational meetings and weekly labour planning to identify resource shortages and scheduling requirements.

About You

You are an organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys solving problems and keeping multiple projects moving.



You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly and are confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.

Your background will include:

Experience in scheduling, resource allocation or coordination within maintenance, construction or trade services.

Ability to interpret project scopes, plans and work requirements.

Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using scheduling or job management systems (Simpro and/or NRM Connect highly regarded).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Understanding of Aboriginal communities and cultural protocols (desirable).

Qualification in Business Administration, Project Scheduling, Construction or a related field (desirable).
