One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Drupal Web Developer– EL1

1. Contract Duration: 12 Months (06 Months initially + 06 Months extension)
2. Work Location: Canberra and Melbourne (Hybrid)
3. Working Arrangement: The standard schedule is 5 office days per fortnight, Work is versatile from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with core hours of attendance being 9.30am-12noon to 2pm-4pm. A standard day is 7.5 hours with a maximum work week being no more than 37.5 hours.
4. Eligibility: You must need to be Australian Citizen
5. Tentative Start Date: ASAP
6. Working Hours: 7.5 Hours a day

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise and development capability to support a small web team managing a complex, newly transitioned website project.
- Ensure the continuity and improvement of existing internal and external facing online platforms as well as being deeply involved in the development and release of new features and applications.
- Utilise a strong technical background in all facets of web development to assist with development of software, websites and web applications.




- Develop visuals and interfaces as well as backend actions on websites or web applications.
- Contribute to ad-hoc web issue tracking, response and rectification within a small internal web team.
- Liaise directly with key internal stakeholders to address issues and provide high-quality solutions within the limitations of the existing platforms.
- Support the development of procurement documentation for vendors including documenting technical requirements for the PC website.
- Support the preparation and publishing of website content in accordance with accepted Australian Government website standards and practices.

Technical skills:

- Experience in Drupal website development and maintenance of Drupal websites.
