We are hiring a Senior Finance Manager to join our APAC Commercial Finance Team. Based in Sydney, this role is the senior finance lead for the Pentland Australia business, with a primary focus on Speedo and the TABS platform, while acting as the key Finance point of contact for Speedo ANZ.

This is a high-impact role sitting close to commercial decision-making. Working directly with Australian commercial leadership and cross-functional teams, you will drive performance, shape commercial decisions, improve margin, sharpen forecasts, and ensure Finance is seen as an indispensable commercial partner.

The role is focused on turning financial insight into commercial action, helping the business move from "what happened" to "why it happened, what it means, and what we do about it". You will bring the numbers to life to support better decisions on pricing, margin, promotions, stock, customer profitability, channel performance and investment choices.

The role you’d play:

- Closely partner with commercial, brand, product, planning and operations teams to provide strategic financial insight, commercial challenge and decision-making support across the Australian business and Speedo ANZ.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and strategic planning processes, ensuring robust assumptions, accurate forecasting and alignment with APAC planning requirements.
- Deliver insightful performance reporting and margin analysis, providing actionable recommendations to improve sales, profitability, customer performance and commercial outcomes.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support pricing, promotions, customer terms, product launches, investment decisions and broader commercial strategy.
- Partner with planning, merchandise and supply chain teams to optimise stock management, improve visibility of risks and opportunities, and support informed operational decision-making.
- Act as the key Finance contact for Speedo ANZ,



collaborating with APAC Commercial Finance and wider finance teams to deliver consistent reporting, planning and support future integration into the Pentland operating model.
- Drive continuous improvement across commercial finance by enhancing planning, reporting and modelling processes, promoting stronger financial governance, and contributing to a high-performing finance team.

What you’d bring to this role:

- A recognised accounting or finance qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A; or finance business partnering, ideally within a consumer, retail, branded goods, wholesale or multi-channel environment.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and translate financial insights into clear commercial recommendations.
- Robust expertise in budgeting, forecasting, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), performance reporting, margin analysis and commercial decision support.
- Experience developing financial models and scenario analysis to support commercial decision-making, including pricing, promotions, customer profitability and investment decisions.
- Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to identify root causes, challenge constructively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI; knowledge of SAP, OneStream or similar finance systems would be advantageous.
