We are seeking an experienced EEHA/E&I; Engineer or suitably qualified EEHA/E&I; Technical Specialist to support ongoing inspection, compliance, and remediation activities within hazardous area installations.
This role will suit a practical, detail-oriented qualified with strong working knowledge of explosive atmospheres (EEHA) and relevant standards, who can confidently assess, document, and advise on compliance issues in operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop assessments of hazardous area (Ex) equipment and installations
- Review and interpret EEHA documentation, including drawings, registers, and certification
- Identify non-conformances and provide clear, practical recommendations
- Support the development and maintenance of hazardous area registers
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical compliance issues
- Contribute to reporting and close-out of identified defects
About You
- Certified Ex Engineer or demonstrable,
extensive EEHA experience
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 60079 series and hazardous area compliance requirements
- Experience in inspection, maintenance, or auditing of Ex equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload across multiple priorities
- Strong communication and reporting skills
