About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our award-winning national team. This role can be based in any of our studio locations, including Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, or Melbourne. Experience in the Health + Science sector is a MUST, with additional exposure to Workspace, Commercial, or Education sectors highly regarded. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be tasked with managing projects nearly autonomously, including project financials and acting as the client contact, with support from our Senior Associates and Partners. Strong design acumen and a proactive, organised mindset are a must. This is both a leadership and hands‑on role. We rely on our designers to manage projects from end to end, sometimes with assistance from our senior leaders and Partners, documenters, our technology team, or autonomously. All our designers are required to have strong Revit skills as well as the proven ability to communicate designs and ideas through multiple mediums including Revit, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop.

General Responsibilities

- Play a key role in client briefings, workshops, design, and design development
- Manage and deliver projects from all stages: concept design, design development, documentation, on‑site construction management,



with experience working on Health sector projects
- Lead and manage your own folio of projects with a team underneath you, and work closely with our Partners
- Liaise with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders
- Contribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff
- Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, VR, etc.

About You

You are passionate about design and happy to work autonomously, delivering beautiful client outcomes whilst also using your practical and organised nature to ensure each project is a success. You have previous experience on Health projects and are familiar with AusHFGs, dRofus and the nuances this type of work demands.

You Will Need

- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in interior design
- A passion for design, ideas, and a willingness to innovate.
- To be a part of our studio culture which can involve attending client and supplier events
- Solid client and stakeholder management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong Revit skills
- A good understanding of the fundamental BCA's and related building regulations and specifications
- Ability to manage projects through all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation, on‑site construction management and contract administration
- The capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously
- Passionate about mentoring junior team members
