Support Worker

Support Worker – Aged Care & Disability Support

Support people to live life their way.

Location:Northern & Central Melbourne Suburbs
Employment Type:Casual with opportunities for Permanent Part-Time and Full-Time employment
Pay Rate:$36–$40 per hour + Superannuation

As our services continue to grow, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers who share our commitment to person-centred care.

About the Role

This is more than a support role; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

You will work alongside clients in their homes and communities, providing individualised support that respects their unique goals, preferences, culture, and needs.

Our clients are located throughout Melbourne's northern suburbs, including:

- Craigieburn
- Greenvale
- Broadmeadows
- Glenroy
- Brunswick
- Airport West
- Coburg
- Surrounding areas

Travel between client locations may be required during shifts.

How You'll Make a Difference

Every client is unique, and you will tailor your support to each person's individual goals, preferences, and needs.

You will:

- Support clients to maintain their independence at home and in the community
- Encourage choice, dignity, and active participation in everyday life
- Build genuine and trusting relationships
- Assist clients to work towards their personal goals
- Provide social and emotional support
- Support community participation and social inclusion
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities when required
- Help with meal preparation,



domestic assistance, and transport to appointments and activities
- Deliver services in accordance with individual support plans

About You

You are someone who:

- Treats every person with respect, compassion, and empathy
- Values dignity, choice, and independence
- Enjoys building meaningful relationships
- Communicates positively and professionally
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality support
- Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to making a positive difference

You will also have:

- Minimum 6 months' experience in Disability Support, Aged Care, Home Care, Community Care, or a similar role
- The ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative team
- A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or unrestricted working rights in Australia

Desirable

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related qualification
