We are working with a high-growth, Australia-based renewable energy business seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join its in-house team in a senior legal capacity. This is a broad and visible role, supporting a dynamic business operating at the forefront of the energy transition, with exposure to complex projects, strategic decision-making and Board-level matters. The role will involve:

Providing strategic legal and commercial advice across the business, including contracting strategy, risk allocation and project delivery

Leading negotiations with key suppliers and partners, and drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements

Managing disputes and advising on dispute strategy and risk mitigation

Supporting regulatory compliance and identifying emerging legal and operational risks

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including the executive team and Board

Supporting governance processes, including Board and committee preparation and reporting

Managing external counsel and key stakeholder relationships, including joint venture partners About you:





6+ PQE commercial lawyer with a mix of private practice and/or in-house experience

Strong background in commercial contracting, projects or energy/infrastructure sectors

Experience leading negotiations and advising on complex, high-value transactions

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of a business

Experience supporting governance processes and working closely with senior leadership is highly desirable Why apply:
