As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) to join our expanding team.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced family law professional who is passionate about dispute resolution and helping families achieve lasting outcomes.

You will facilitate family dispute resolution conferences and mediations involving parenting and financial matters, working alongside a highly regarded team committed to excellence, professionalism and client care.

The role offers significant flexibility, allowing you to focus on your professional strengths while being supported by contemporary systems and an experienced administrative team.

About You

You are an accredited FDRP, mediator, family lawyer or related professional who:

- Is passionate about alternative dispute resolution

- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Can build rapport quickly and effectively manage complex family dynamics

- Maintains neutrality while bringing empathy and practical problem-solving skills to discussions

- Has experience facilitating parenting and/or property mediations

- Is committed to delivering high-quality client experiences





- Works collaboratively and professionally with lawyers and other professionals

Essential

- Family law experience

- Nationally Accredited Mediator (AMDRAS)

- Experience conducting family dispute resolution conferences and mediations

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Solid organisational and file management skills

Highly Regarded

- Family Law Specialist Accreditation

- Experience dealing with complex parenting matters

- Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP)

- Current eligibility to issue Section 60I Certificates

- Experience mediating property and financial disputes

- Established professional networks within the family law sector
