About the Role Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Senior Mining Engineer will work closely with long‑, medium‑ and short‑term engineers to deliver safe and efficient mine schedules. This key leadership role coordinates and collaborates with other departments, integrating all aspects of mine planning to ensure timely delivery of critical business objectives. Coaching and mentoring Mining Engineers within the Technical Services department is essential to build the capabilities of the team.

Key Responsibilities - Deliver safe and effective mine schedules in collaboration with engineering teams.

- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to integrate mine planning with business objectives.
- Coaching and mentoring Mining Engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Promote a high level of safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of company values.
- Work autonomously and within a team environment, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.





Qualifications - Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.

- High interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Flexible attitude and proven ability to meet deadlines and problem‑solve.
- Proven previous experience in a similar senior role or readiness to develop into a leader.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
