Sharp & Carter is partnering exclusively with Wieden+Kennedy on the appointment of a People + Culture Manager to join its Sydney office.

Reporting to the Sydney Managing Director and Global Chief People Officer, you will lead the People & Culture function locally, partnering with leaders and employees across all areas of the business. This role combines strategic HR business partnering with hands‑on operational support and requires someone comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

- Partner with leaders on performance, engagement, talent development and employee relations matters
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
- Lead culture, wellbeing, engagement and recognition initiatives
- Provide HR advice and support across employment legislation, policies and people-related challenges
- Oversee HR operations, contracts, documentation and compliance




- Support learning and development programs and career growth initiatives
- Use people data and insights to identify trends and drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across talent and people programs

About you

- Proven experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture role
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations
- Experience partnering with leaders and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands‑on, operational approach
- High levels of emotional intelligence, initiative and sound judgement
- Experience within a creative agency, media, marketing, communications, design or similarly fast‑paced environment will be highly regarded
- Comfortable working autonomously while building strong relationships across the business
