We are seeking an experienced Service Technical Supervisor to join our growing WA Service Team. This is a field-based leadership role responsible for supervising technicians and subcontractors, driving service delivery performance, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role
As the Service Technical Supervisor, you will provide technical leadership and operational oversight across maintenance, reactive service and minor works projects. You will work closely with Service Coordinators, Schedulers, Account Managers and field personnel to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.
You will be responsible for monitoring service performance, supporting technicians in the field, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects and service activities are delivered to meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Supervision
Lead and support electronic security technicians and subcontractors in the delivery of service and maintenance works.
Conduct pre-start meetings and service work close-out reviews.
Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to field personnel.
Assist with workforce planning and job prioritisation.
Ensure apprentices and junior technicians receive appropriate supervision and development.
Service & Operational Management
Review and manage open work orders in conjunction with schedulers.
Develop job scopes and support budget preparation.
Assist with Business Risk Assessment Forms (BRAF)
and other project planning requirements.
Procure materials and coordinate resources as required.
Lead maintenance and minor works projects from planning through to completion.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are achieved.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all service activities.
Conduct Toolbox Talks and safety briefings.
Perform HSE audits, vehicle inspections and field safety reviews.
Develop and maintain Job Specific Safety Plans.
Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure compliance with all company, client and legislative Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
Quality Assurance
Conduct quality audits on reactive callouts and planned maintenance works.
Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, specifications and company procedures.
Review service documentation, inspection records and reports for accuracy and completeness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service operations.
Training & Technical Development
Deliver internal technical training sessions.
Review and distribute technical bulletins, lessons learned and shared learning materials.
Support ongoing capability development across the service team.
Encourage knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
Reporting & Performance
Prepare reports relating to safety, service delivery, quality and team performance.
Monitor project progress, budgets and resource utilisation.
Escalate risks, issues and client concerns as required.
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience in the electronic security industry.
Strong knowledge of CCTV,
Access Control, Intrusion Detection and integrated security systems.
Sound understanding of IP networking and IT infrastructure.
Previous experience leading technicians, teams or projects.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Current Security Installer Licence.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
