Senior Planner – Civil & Rail Infrastructure ? Location: North Brisbane, Queensland (North Side)

? Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Senior Planner with a robust background in Civil and Rail Infrastructure projects? We are seeking a motivated professional to join a well-established infrastructure team delivering major transport and civil projects across Queensland.

Please Note: This position is based in North Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Only candidates with full Australian working rights (Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or holders of unrestricted Australian work visas) will be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Overseas applications will not be considered. Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.

Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Prepare project planning reports, progress updates, and schedule forecasts.

Support tender planning and project controls where required.

Ensure compliance with project delivery standards and contractual requirements.

Required

Experience

5–10 years of experience as a Planner or Senior Planner.

Proven experience in Civil Infrastructure and Rail projects.





Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling software).

Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, and risk management.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment. Desirable

Experience on major transport or rail infrastructure projects.

Engineering, Construction Management, or related qualification.

Knowledge of Australian construction standards and project delivery practices.

Australian experience within Civil and/or Rail Infrastructure.

Full Australian working rights.

Ability to work from the North Brisbane location.
