About the Role

We're looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of Bed Threads' growing range. This is an exciting prospect for a commercially minded creative who has a strong eye for colour, materials and emerging trends, and is passionate about designing beautiful products for the home.

Working closely with our Directors and Operations team, you'll help develop seasonal collections across bedding, bath, table and sleepwear, ensuring every product feels thoughtful, elevated and true to the Bed Threads aesthetic.

What You'll Do

- Research and forecast global trends across interiors, textiles and lifestyle.
- Translate trends into commercially successful seasonal product ranges.
- Design and develop collections across bedding, bath, table linen and sleepwear.
- Create cohesive colour palettes, prints, textures and material stories.
- Build range plans that expand and strengthen our existing categories.
- Prepare design specifications, technical packs and product development documentation.
- Work closely with suppliers to refine samples and ensure quality standards are met.
- Partner with the Operations and Marketing teams to ensure collections align with business objectives and brand direction.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and category growth.

About You





- 8+ years' experience designing physical consumer products, ideally within homewares, textiles, bedding, fashion or lifestyle.
- Strong trend forecasting skills with the ability to translate insights into commercially successful products.
- Excellent understanding of colour, material, textile and print development.
- Experience developing products from concept through to production.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with manufacturers and cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about creating beautiful, functional products that customers will love.

Role Details

- Part-time (3 days per week including Tuesday and Wednesday at our Rosebery HQ)
- Reporting to the Directors of Bed Threads
- Based in Sydney
