EOI - Senior Project Officer – Digital & Strategic Programs, Building Commission NSW Grade: Clerk Grade 9/10

Duration: Temporary full time opportunity until mid-June 2027 with a possibility of extension

Location: Parramatta or Sydney. Office attendance required 2 –3 days per week. About the Building Commission NSW

Established in December 2023, Building Commission NSW (BCNSW) is the building regulator for the construction industry in New South Wales. The new commission will not only be the industry regulator, but also a collaborator with consumers and industry to ensure standards, capabilities, capacity and resilience continue to be lifted across the sector to deliver quality homes and meet the state’s housing targets.

Responsibilities include

Coordinate program activities across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support successful delivery.

Maintain project documentation, including status reports, RAID logs, action registers, decision logs, and governance artefacts.

Prepare project updates, briefing notes, dashboards, and meeting packs.

Coordinate meetings, workshops, minutes, and action tracking.

Monitor and report on risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.

Manage document filing, records management, and information accuracy.

Support requirements, testing, implementation,



and business readiness activities through effective coordination.

Facilitate communication and collaboration across business, technical, and delivery teams.

Provide project administration, governance, and reporting support to ensure the program runs smoothly.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience in a Project Coordinator, Program Coordinator, PMO, or Project Support role.

Experience supporting digital, technology, or transformation projects.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple stakeholders

Experience maintaining project documentation, including status reports, RAID logs, action registers, meeting minutes, and governance artefacts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefings, and stakeholder communications.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tracking actions, risks, issues, and deliverables.

Experience coordinating internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Understanding of project delivery methodologies and the end-to-end project lifecycle.

Experience with Salesforce or large-scale digital transformation programs will be highly regarded.

Project Management, Agile, Scrum, or similar certifications will be advantageous.

Salary Grade 09/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $133,348 base plus superannuation
