About the Role

We are growing our Cost Management presence in Sydney and are looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants to do more than simply deliver projects. This is an opportunity to join a team at an exciting stage of its growth. You'll play a key role in helping establish and expand our Sydney cost management business, working closely with senior leaders to develop client relationships, win new work and deliver exceptional outcomes.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Data Centres, Industrial & Logistics, and Retail sectors. However, we are equally keen to speak with strong all-round Quantity Surveyors who bring broad project experience and the desire to develop across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Delivering cost management services across all project phases
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies
- Managing procurement and tender processes
- Providing contract administration and commercial advice
- Supporting business development and client engagement activities
- Identifying opportunities to generate repeat and new business
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members as the team grows
- Contributing to the growth strategy of the Sydney business

About You

- 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management
- Experience in Data Centres, Industrial & Logistics, Retail, Commercial, Infrastructure or other major sectors
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with an interest in helping grow a business
- Ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- AIQS, RICS or equivalent membership (or working towards)
