Approach Consulting is seeking an experienced SharePoint Engineer to join a major Defence modernisation program delivering critical collaboration and information-sharing capabilities across a complex and highly secure ICT environment.

About the Role In this role, you'll take ownership of enterprise SharePoint platforms, working across administration, automation, integration and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll help deliver secure, reliable and scalable collaboration services that support effective information sharing across a complex Defence ICT environment.

Security Requirements

Applicants must hold and maintain a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance and be eligible to comply with ITAR requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain SharePoint 2016/2019 environments,



including site collections, permissions and service applications.
- Design and implement collaboration solutions, intranet portals and document management capabilities.
- Automate administrative processes and workflows using PowerShell.
- Integrate SharePoint with Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server and other enterprise services.
- Drive platform improvements focused on performance, scalability and availability.
- Develop technical documentation, build guides and standard operating procedures.
- Work with stakeholders to identify risks, solve problems and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Highly Regarded

- Experience working in or around Defence environments.
- Experience with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
- Exposure to deployed environments or highly secure ICT networks.
