About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve our client transition capability across Registry, Managed Funds, and Employee Share Schemes (ESS). This is a hands‑on role focused on designing and building the systems that power large-scale data migrations, while taking end-to-end ownership of migration delivery. Every transition is unique, complex, and time‑critical, requiring strong engineering judgement, deep data expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.

You will operate at the intersection of software engineering, data, and real‑world execution, playing a critical role in onboarding new clients onto the Automic platform.

Pattern - Tuesday to Saturday working week - Saturday availability essential, as critical client migrations are typically executed on weekends - Weekdays focused on engineering, tooling, automation, and platform enhancements Key Technologies - Java, Spring Boot - AWS (cloud‑native architecture) - Data processing, transformation, and pipeline design - Strong focus on data structures, performance, and scalability Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and enhance migration tooling using Java and Spring Boot - Develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading - Lead complex client transitions from planning through to successful delivery - Analyse, map,
