About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for the non-statutory financial management and commercial performance of Autocare Services. You will provide strategic financial guidance, manage financial risks and partner with leaders across Operations, Assets, IT, Customer and the broader Optimus Group to improve business performance and profitability.
In this role, you will:

- Lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities to support Board and executive decision-making.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice across the business, supporting long-term customer partnerships and investment decisions.
- Develop reporting, dashboards and insights that improve accountability, benchmarking and operational performance.
- Partner with Assets and Operations teams on capital planning, investment analysis and Board-ready capital submissions.
- Support change and improvement initiatives through strong analysis, clear recommendations and practical financial leadership.
- Manage a small finance and commercial support team,



building capability and ensuring timely delivery of key outcomes.

About you
You are a commercially minded finance professional who can translate complex financial information into practical business insight. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly with non-financial stakeholders and enjoy working across functions to influence outcomes.
You will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in finance, business, accounting or management.
- Robust financial, commercial and analytical capability, ideally gained in a medium to large organisation.
- Proven experience in a senior finance, commercial finance or financial leadership role.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
- The ability to present financial information clearly and support better decision-making across the business.
- A collaborative leadership style, with experience coaching or managing a small team.
- Confidence using business systems and reporting tools such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Oracle or similar platforms.
