Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements (including GPFS) and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Support mentorship and overall development of Junior, Intermediate and Senior teammates
- Preparation, review,



and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance obligations
- Provide tax planning and general business advice across a diverse client base
- Participate in advisory engagements, including forecasting and strategic planning
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and expand professional networks

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Experience servicing business clients with turnovers of $5 million+
- CPA or CA qualified (or nearing completion)
- Robust client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Motivated by growth and career progression
- Comfortable remaining hands-on with compliance work
- A patient and empathetic leadership mindset
- Experience with Xero, Reckon and similar tools preferred
