About The Role
Join our Roads and Drainage Maintenance teams as a Leading Hand and play a key role in maintaining essential community infrastructure.
You will guide work crews, coordinate resources and contribute to the timely and effective delivery of maintenance and operational works.
With your civil maintenance experience and leadership skills you will:
- Lead and support a team undertaking maintenance works across Council's roads, drainage systems, footpaths, kerb and channel, and associated infrastructure.
- Foster a positive safety culture through effective pre-starts, toolbox talks, hazard identification and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities, allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure maintenance priorities, operational objectives and service standards are met.
- Respond proactively to operational issues and support the timely delivery of maintenance programs and projects.

About You
We have multiple roles available and to be successful, you will have:
- Solid leadership and people management skills
- Experience providing direction to and managing teams on site
- A safety-first approach to your team and works
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (MR Class Licence an advantage)
- The ability to work in line with our values of safety and wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

These are permanent full time positions with a salary up to $76,889 plus 12.5% superannuation.
