We're partnering with a highly regarded specialist law firm that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering expert legal advice to government agencies, public institutions and major private sector clients. As the firm continues to grow and evolve, they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Operations to work closely with the CEO and play a pivotal role in the firm's ongoing success.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you’ll influence the strategic direction of the business while overseeing the day-to-day operations of a well-established, high-performing firm.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be the senior operational leader of the firm, overseeing a team of business support professionals across administration, finance, facilities, IT and HR.

- Leading and mentoring the firm’s administrative and business support teams
- Driving operational strategy and continuous business improvement
- Overseeing HR, recruitment, performance management and staff development
- Managing finance operations, budgeting and reporting alongside the Finance Manager
- Ensuring compliance with legal industry regulations and client requirements
- Overseeing facilities management, IT systems and office operations
- Leading projects focused on process improvement, workflow automation and AI implementation
- Working closely with the firm’s leadership team to support strategic growth and business objectives





You’ll also partner closely with experienced department managers who bring extensive institutional knowledge, allowing you to focus on enhancing operations while building on an already strong foundation.

About You

- Previous experience as a Head of Operations, Practice Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, technology and continuous improvement
